How do I reset my password?

On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter your email. We'll send you a link to reset your password. If you don't receive the email within 5 minutes, check your spam folder or contact support.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm your decision. Once deleted, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.

Why can't I see my matches?

Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Try closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, contact our technical support team at jeff@hookt.io.

How do I report someone?

Tap the three dots on their profile or in the chat window, select "Report," and choose the reason for reporting. Our safety team reviews all reports within 24 hours. You can also email jeff@hookt.io for urgent concerns.

Can I use Hookt on multiple devices?

Yes! You can log into your Hookt account on multiple devices. Your messages, matches, and profile will sync automatically across all devices.

How does location tracking work?

Location tracking is optional and only active when you turn it on. When enabled, you can share a link with friends who can see your real-time location on a map. You can turn it off anytime. Learn more on our Safety page.

Is Hookt available in my country?

Hookt is currently available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia. We're working on expanding to more countries soon!

How do I verify my profile?

Go to Settings → Profile → Verify Profile. You'll be guided through Stripe Identity verification, which securely verifies your identity using your government-issued ID. The process takes just a few minutes.

What should I do if I feel unsafe?

Your safety is our top priority. If you feel unsafe during a date, leave immediately and go to a safe location. Contact local authorities if necessary. You can also reach our safety team 24/7 at jeff@hookt.io. Read our comprehensive Safety Guidelines for more information.

How can I improve my match quality?

Complete your profile fully with multiple photos and answered prompts. Verify your profile for a trust badge. Be active - the more you use Hookt, the better our algorithm understands your preferences. Check out our How It Works page for more tips.
